Rocks, and lots of ’em! And a long steep descent of several kilometers. The day began at the Alto de Marta, it was a chilly, foggy morning and we were bundled up for the adventure.
As we got closer to the trail leading to the descent I knew it was knee brace time.
I stripped down, put some anti-inflammatory cream on my knees then slapped on the knee braces and went for it!
Rocks! So many! We had to keep an eye on them or they’d jump out every now and again and send us rollin’!
The slow decent allowed for a deeper enjoyment of the spectacular world around us

During the cool of the morning the hills lie nestled in blankets of white, pillowy fog.
With the rising sun came the hills slowly pulled back their cottony covers to reveal the green treasures hiding underneath.
So many treasures revealed, so many more to explore.
